Equality maintains a Quality Control Dept., with one inspector per
shift. The Quality Dept. performs inspection and testing of products
according to inspection criteria and documents these results.
- Incoming Inspection:
Tooling, raw materials, outside service parts, returned
nonconforming parts and products meeting inspection criteria are
inspected and documented upon receiving.
- In-Process Inspection:
Operations are checked by QC upon setup, tooling repair
and every shift change there after and the results are recorded.
The QC Dept. makes hourly rounds on the shop floor to check all parts
visually and measurements are taken if required.
- Final Inspection:
Parts will be sampled according to the final
inspection criteria and inspected per corresponding quality standards, and
documented as such.
- Pre-Production Inspection/Sampling:
Parts will be sampled per specifications and a
Pre-Production Layout is performed. Samples are sent to the customer
per specifications, under the direction of the QC Manager. Parts will
not be produced until acceptance is given by the customer.
